We offer two kinds of coaching at BIHC: health coaching and transformational coaching. While health coaching aims to support you in moving towards better health, transformational coaching is about realising your dreams and enabling you to live the life you want to live. Instead of changing how you act, in transformational coaching you work on changing the way you see yourself.
Coaching is not so much about re-examining the past and trying to work out how you got here; it is more about identifying resources and figuring out the best way forward. It may seem like you are a victim of circumstances, but it is always possible to make choices and find the best route to get where you want to go. To achieve this you need clarity and an understanding of how your mind and body work. There are a number of ways of achieving this, and as many models of coaching.
Sorrel uses NLP (neurolinguistic programming), and Clarity Coaching. These have proved effective for both health coaching and transformational coaching.
